CH552 and Linux Ubuntu, how to make it work?

Hello I’m trying to connect Maix Bit Mic to the Ubuntu, since MaixPy IDE is not working in macOs
but the USB device is not appearing.
I understand CH522 needs FTDI drivers and I’ve installed libftd2xx-x86_64-1.4.8, and it is not working after restart.
Ideas are welcome
Thank you

I am using the ftdi_sio module with no problems on Arch Linux. What do you get from lsusb? I have

coudd you explain you did it ?
Me :
sudo modprobe ftdi_sio
sudo “echo 0403 6010 > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id”

It is not working for me too. hope somebody from sipeed could help us on this issue.

I had the same problem using Windoows 10.

Try connecting the BIT to your computer via a powered USB hub. This worked for me.

Does anyone from Sipeed even read these forums? If so, are you aware of this issue? Are you actually working on it?
